Location: Downtown Atlanta, GA (Hybrid: Onsite Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday)

Overview

We are seeking a motivated Jr Software Developer to join our Supply Chain Application Development team. This is an excellent opportunity for a early-career developer looking to build hands-on experience in enterprise software development while working alongside experienced engineers and business leaders.

In this role, you will contribute to the design, development, testing, and support of business-critical supply chain applications. You'll gain exposure to modern development technologies, Agile methodologies, cloud platforms, and enterprise systems while receiving mentorship and career development opportunities within a large organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop, test, maintain, and support software applications under the guidance of sr developers.
  • Participate in all phases of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC), including requirements gathering, design, development, testing, deployment, and production support.
  • Collaborate with developers, business analysts, vendors, and stakeholders to deliver high-quality solutions.
  • Troubleshoot application issues and implement effective resolutions.
  • Assist with application enhancements, bug fixes, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Learn and adopt new technologies, tools, and development best practices.
  • Contribute to Agile team activities, including sprint planning, standups, retrospectives, and reviews.
  • Provide regular updates on project progress, challenges, and technical solutions.
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Foundational programming experience in one or more languages such as:
    • Java
    • Python
    • JavaScript
    • Unix/Shell Scripting
  • Understanding of software engineering fundamentals, including data structures, algorithms, and object-oriented programming concepts.
  • Basic knowledge of relational databases and SQL.
  • Exposure to source control and version management tools such as Git.
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
