Start Your Career in IT Infrastructure & Data CentersWant to work in tech but don’t want to sit behind a help desk all day? This is a hands-on opportunity to break into the world of network infrastructure, data centers, and telecommunications — even if you’re still building your experience.
We’re hiring motivated individuals to support a major data center construction project in Aiken, SC. This position is perfect for candidates interested in IT, networking, fiber optics, CompTIA certifications, or technology infrastructure who want real-world field experience.
You’ll work alongside experienced technicians learning how networks are physically built inside large-scale data centers that power cloud computing, enterprise systems, and modern technology.
What You’ll Do
- Install and route copper and fiber optic cabling throughout data center environments
- Assist with server rack builds and infrastructure setup
- Learn cable termination, patching, labeling, and testing procedures
- Support Wi‑Fi, network, and low-voltage infrastructure installations
- Read layouts and follow technical drawings and project documentation
- Use hand tools and cable management systems including J-hooks and ladder racks
- Maintain organized, clean, and safety-focused work areas
- Work alongside experienced infrastructure and telecom professionals
