Job description

Winston Taylor's Texas offices (Dallas/Houston) are looking for a first-year associate (2026 JD) to join the firm's Intellectual Property practice in Fall 2026. While Dallas is the preferred location for this position, we will also consider candidates interested in our Houston office.

Candidates who are interested in IP Litigation and who also have a technical degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field are strongly encouraged to apply. Candidates should also possess excellent academic credentials as well as strong analytical, writing, and verbal skills. All candidates must be scheduled to take the July 2026 Texas Bar Exam. USPTO registration is a plus but not required.
