Job description

IT Systems Administrator position at a growing manufacturing company.

  • Direct hire position with excellent benefit package
  • $ 33.65 – 36.00/hr.
  • At least 1 year of related experience with a BS degree in a related field of studies

Requirements of the IT Systems Administrator:

  • B.S. in Computer Science, MIS, or related field.
  • 1+ years of experience supporting network administration, databases, web applications, and hardware configuration/maintenance.
  • Equivalent combination of education, training, and experience accepted.
  • Japanese bilingual skills are a big plus.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to be flexible with work schedule.
  • Required to travel for project implementation and task support when necessary.

 

Responsibilities of the IT Systems Administrator:

  • Monitor system performance and recommend improvements.
  • Maintain IT infrastructure, network systems, and security.
  • Support and manage web-based, legacy, and ERP (NetSuite) applications.
  • Maintain IT hardware, software, and information systems.
  • Manage data backups and disaster recovery processes.
  • Maintain IT documentation, logs, and project records.
  • Perform other job duties related to the job, as assigned by management.

Employment Type: Direct Hire

Schedule: Monday – Friday 08:00/08:30 a.m. – 05:00/05:30 p.m.

Hybrid after 3 months: 2 days in the office, 3 days from home
