Salary: $24.06
The employee in this class is responsible for entry level work, including conducting audits of departmental practices to ensure compliance with laws and regulations. The employee will assist with reviewing the adequacy of internal controls and evaluate program efficiency and effectiveness. This employee assists the Systems Administrator and Systems Supervisor in customizing tax software and other third-party products provided by County vendors to meet the various needs and requirements of the department. They will review workflows. This employee provides basic support and routine training to all Collections employees when appropriate. This employee assists in testing software programs for accuracy and validity and assists with the technical aspects of billing and receipting processes. May be on 24-hour call for emergencies and must be available to oversee the running of programs and reports on as needed basis.
Minimum Qualifications:
  • Preference given for associate or bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in Computer Science, Mathematics, Data Science, or related field; OR
  • One year of experience in analytics, computer science, technology, or related field.
  • Must submit to and pass a background check and drug screen.
