Brown and Joseph is seeking a Data & Administrative Support Analyst as we continue to grow our team! The Data & Administrative Support Analyst role is ideal for someone with college coursework in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Analytics, or a related field who is looking to gain hands-on experience in business reporting while contributing to daily administrative functions.ย This is a hybrid role combining data reporting responsibilities with operational and administrative support.
Job Responsibilities:โ€ฏย 
Data and Reporting:
  • Run and distribute scheduled reports from internal systems
  • Write or modify basic SQL queries (training and mentorship provided)
  • Use Excel for data cleanup, formatting, and analysis (VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, pivot tables preferred)
  • Maintain reporting accuracy and documentation
  • Support ad hoc data requests from leadership
Administrative & Operational Support
  • Answer incoming calls and route appropriately
  • Assist with shared inbox management
  • Maintain spreadsheets, trackers, and documentation
  • Support general administrative needs across departments
Job Requirements:โ€ฏย 
  • Associateโ€™s or Bachelorโ€™s degree (completed or in progress) in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Analytics, Business Technology, or related field
  • Working knowledge of Excel
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to manage multiple responsibilities
  • Comfortable multi-tasking & handling multiple portfolios
  • Assisting with special projects when needed
Preferred:
  • Exposure to SQL (academic or internship experience acceptable)
  • Familiarity with databases or reporting systems
  • 0โ€“2 years of professional experience
