Job description

Primary Functions:

Curbell’s Internship Program provides students the opportunity to gain practical, challenging and meaningful on-the-job work experience. The internship experience varies depending on the department, but all offer a unique opportunity in the corporate work force for high school, undergraduate and graduate students. From the start, interns are challenged to demonstrate their strengths and apply their knowledge to help us achieve our business strategy.

Curbell Inc. has a Computer Science Internship available for the Summer of 2026 (June- Middle of August).

 Core Projects:

  • Assist with Android application development and feature enhancements for medical communication devices.
  • Support software testing, validation, and documentation activities to ensure product quality and compliance.
  • Help troubleshoot software and firmware issues through debugging, data collection, and analysis.
  • Develop scripts and automation tools to improve testing efficiency and data processing.
  • Collaborate with software engineers on embedded firmware development and product improvement projects.

 Job Requirements:

  • Pursing a degree in computer science/computer engineering/CSE (computer science & engineering)
  • Strong computer skills - Java (Java/C++ ), Python, git, Linux 
  • Available up to 39 hours per week
  • On-site position

Compensation and Benefits: Curbell interns are offered a flexible schedule to work around college classes and workload. In addition to the experience, interns are compensated and additionally the company will also assist students with credit bearing course completions.
