Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Software Engineer to join our team! As a Software Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining our companyโ€™s software. You will gather information to identify the companyโ€™s needs and program clean and efficient code to meet those needs. The ideal candidate is an analytical thinker with a proven ability to produce functional code.

Responsibilities

Identify and evaluate the needs of the user

Develop software to meet those needs

Manage project priorities, deadlines, and deliverables

Fix bugs and address user concerns

Update software as needed

Collects, reviews, and inputs data into a computer processing system; audits output data.

May be expected to code data and input data for computer processing.

Identifies and resolves production related errors.

Maintains and revises procedural lists, control records and coding schemes to process source data.

Must be familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures.

Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.

Performs a variety of complicated tasks. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager.

A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected.

Qualifications

A bachelorโ€™s degree in Computer Science or a related field preferred

Previous experience as a Software Engineer or in a similar role is preferred; 2 or more years of experience

Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills

Ability to collaborate well as part of a team

Understanding of relational databases
