Kodion Energy is hiring for an entry-level Electrical Power Engineer at our transformer manufacturing company, where you will designs, tests, and supports the production of power and distribution transformers under the guidance of senior engineers.


Job Summary

We are seeking an Entry-Level Electrical Power Engineer to join our engineering team. You will help design, test, and manufacture custom and standard magnetic devices and power transformers. This role works closely with our production, quality assurance, and sales teams to deliver safe, efficient, and compliant electrical solutions.


Key Responsibilities

  • Transformer Design & Calculation: Assist in calculating core losses, impedance, short-circuit forces, thermal performance, and insulation coordination under senior supervision.
  • Manufacturing Support: Create clear shop-floor documentation, winding details, and assembly instructions for the production floor.
  • Testing & Quality: Support factory acceptance testing (FAT), routine testing, and root-cause analysis for any design or production issues.
  • Standards Compliance: Ensure all designs comply with relevant industry standards such as IEEE/ANSI and IEC guidelines.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with sales, procurement, and manufacturing departments to evaluate customer specifications and project feasibility.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electromechanical Engineering, or a closely related field.
  • Technical Knowledge: Foundational understanding of electromagnetic principles, power systems, and circuit analysis.
  • Software Skills: Familiarity with 2D/3D CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD) and basic computer-aided engineering or simulation tools.
  • Communication: Strong written and verbal skills to write technical reports and interact with internal teams and clients.
