Take Ten Tire and Service currently has an exciting opportunity for a Service Advisor. You must be energetic, team-oriented, and understand the importance of being the face of the company. Experience in automotive repair and maintenance, and/or tire sales and maintenance is a definite plus. This job is demanding and competitive, requiring someone with a positive attitude, a strong work ethic, and a genuine commitment to customer service.


The position focuses on resolving customer and vehicle-related issues, meeting predetermined service sales objectives, and thoroughly and accurately performing designated administrative tasks.


Essential Functions

  • Promptly meet and greet every service customer in a friendly and courteous manner.
  • Listen to customers' reasons for bringing their vehicle to the service department.
  • Offer logical diagnostic services or repairs to satisfy the customers' concerns.
  • Provide accurate estimates for all recommended services or repairs.
  • Maintain open communication with technicians and the shop foreman regarding job status updates.
  • Handle minor customer complaints and/or misunderstandings with courtesy and tact, without exacerbating the issues.
  • Make policy adjustments within the guidelines and budgets established by management.
  • Answer incoming telephone calls promptly and courteously, and make every effort to satisfy the caller's inquiry.
  • Write and complete work orders, explain the work done to the customer, and collect payments.
  • Strive to ensure that every customer is very satisfied with the level of service the shop offers.
  • Provide superior customer service at all times.
  • Make yourself available for and complete all required and additional training the Company offers.
  • Perform other duties as required by management.
  • Adhere to company policies and legal regulations at all times when conducting business.
