Seeking technicians to support a large-scale laptop migration and workstation deployment program. Candidates will deploy Windows laptops, assist users during device transitions, validate application functionality, provide in-person technical support, manage asset inventory, and support migration events. Experience with Microsoft 365, Windows 11, device deployments, hardware refresh projects, and customer-facing support required. Travel between office locations may be required. Job Description The PC Deployment & Migration Technician supports enterprise workstation migration and device deployment initiatives. This role is responsible for preparing, deploying, configuring, validating, and supporting laptops, desktop computers, peripherals, and related end-user technology. The technician will work directly with employees during migration events, workstation refreshes, onboarding activities, and scheduled cutovers to ensure a smooth transition with minimal disruption to business operations. Essential Duties and Responsibilities • Deploy, configure, and support Windows laptops and desktop computers. • Perform workstation replacements and technology refresh activities. • Image, provision, configure, and validate new devices prior to deployment. • Migrate users to new laptops, including profile configuration, application setup, and connectivity verification. • Assist users with login issues, MFA enrollment, password resets, and workstation access. • Validate functionality of business applications after device deployment. • Support Microsoft 365, Outlook, Teams, OneDrive, and other enterprise productivity tools. • Coordinate hardware distribution, collection, shipping, asset tracking, and inventory management activities. • Document deployment activities, issues, and resolutions within ServiceNow or designated ticketing systems. • Provide white-glove support to end users during migration events and scheduled cutovers. • Assist with printer, peripheral, docking station, monitor, and mobile device setup. • Support office relocation and site migration initiatives. • Maintain accurate asset management records and chain-of-custody documentation. • Escalate technical issues to engineering, endpoint management, or infrastructure teams as required. • Participate in migration planning, staging, and hypercare support activities.
