What You’ll Do
  • Assist in the design and development of mechanical components, parts, and prototypes.
  • Develop specifications for new parts and support product documentation.
  • Select appropriate materials and manufacturing processes to meet quality, performance, and manufacturability requirements.
  • Use CAD and design tools to create, modify, and improve mechanical designs.
  • Conduct basic analyses and testing to identify weaknesses, failures, or opportunities for improvement in parts or products.
  • Support special engineering projects and additional assignments as needed.
  • Maintain confidentiality of company data and protect organizational value.
  • Ensure compliance with all safety, health, and environmental regulations, policies, and procedures, supporting a goal of zero incidents and injuries.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a closely related engineering discipline.
  • Entrylevel to earlycareer experience in mechanical design, product development, or manufacturing environments.
  • Familiarity with CAD software and design/modeling tools.
  • Foundational understanding of mechanical design principles, materials, and manufacturing processes.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to organize data and draw sound conclusions with guidance.

Work Environment:

  • This is primarily a sedentary office classification and employees work in an office with moderate noise levels, controlled temperature conditions and no direct exposure to hazardous physical substances
  • Minimal travel required- up to 10% domestic and international travel requirements.

Physical Demands:
