Martin/Martin, Inc. is looking for an entry level Technician position. Performs entry level drafting and modeling while learning proficiency in the Department's modeling/drafting platform and modeling/drafting standards.
Entry level technician position developing proficiency in their department's modeling/drafting software and standards. Duties vary based on discipline listed in title.

The Team
Our civil engineering teams focus on site and infrastructure design, including leading projects such as the 16th Street Mall redesign in Denver.
Responsibilities
  • Transfers redlines to drawings
  • Drafts details
  • 3D modeling
  • Creates plans, sections, elevations, 3D views, details, and schedules from the model
  • Applies company modeling/drafting standards
  • Communicates in a professional manner
  • Other duties as assigned

Requirements
Required
  • Graduation from high school or GED equivalent
  • Experience with drafting/modeling software like that used by the department
  • Must be eligible to work for any employer in the United States, without the need for visa sponsorship now or in the future.
  • Ability to work in the Denver area. Relocation reimbursement may be provided, depending on the role and job function.

Desired
  • Graduation from an accredited program in information modeling/design technology/drafting, of 1-year minimum duration, or equivalent, directly related experience of at least 2 years
  • Drafting, 3D modeling, construction, or architectural design experience
  • Familiarity with department's modeling/drafting software

Working Conditions, Skills, and Abilities
This position is primarily technical in nature and requires working inside and outside the office to complete a wide range of activities. The following abilities are required:
  • Move inside or outside the office and on non-ADA accessible construction sites
  • Remain stationary for long periods of time
  • Repetitive movement on tasks such as using a keyboard or mouse
  • Identify color
  • Read, communicate, and document in English
  • Determine and exchange accurate information
  • Occasionally move or hold equipment weighing up to 50 pounds

Compensation
The wage range for this role considers the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs.
  • Pay Rate: For individuals hired in Colorado, a reasonable estimate of the hourly salary for this full-time position is $28.36 - $33.65 per hour.
  • Hourly Salary Review: This role is eligible to participate in Martin/Martin's annual salary increase review process.
  • Annual Bonus: This role is eligible to participate in a discretionary annual bonus program.

Hourly salary review and increases, in addition to annual bonuses, are dependent on various factors, including a hired individual's job-level and annual company performance.
