Test & Evaluation Engineers (Entry Level, Associate or Experienced)

Boeing Test & Evaluation (BT&E) is seeking a Test & Evaluation Engineers (Entry Level, Associate or Experienced) to join our team in either Berkeley, MO.

Our team's focus is on air vehicle data acquisition, processing, and visualization requirements for both real-time and post-test analyses. We support a wide variety of platforms and integrated product team (IPT) customers. These include fixed wing programs (e.g., T-7A, MQ-25, F-15, F-18) and Phantom Works Programs.

With the evolution of program needs, there may be additional requirements for travel and domestic temporary assignments in the future.

Our teams are currently hiring for a broad range of experience levels including Entry-Level, Associate, and Experienced Test and Evaluation Engineers.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Work with internal and external customers to define and document instrumentation, data requirements, and test planning, including acquisition, processing, and analysis, to satisfy test objectives
  • Coordinate with flight and ground test personnel to develop, update, maintain, and configuration control real-time displays required for real-time data analysis and mission control
  • Design, develop, and implement complex calculations in support of test objectives
  • Work with the flight test software team to ensure existing custom flight test processing software will meet requirements for test, and define requirements and test any new required software or algorithms
  • Maintain and update aircraft data processing database with test specific information
  • Verify the necessary parameters for a test are operational, recorded, and/or telemetered
  • Support the conduct and execution of the test program, including real-time test coverage and data monitoring
  • Request, process, analyze, release, and distribute final test data
  • Analyze final data for quality, identify and correct anomalies prior to release to data customers

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, engineering technology (includes manufacturing engineering technology), chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science
  • Willing to travel domestically and internationally as needed

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Level 2: 2 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Level 3: 5 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Experience with flight test, laboratory testing, data analysis, instrumentation, system integration, and/or simulation
  • Active security clearance

Level 1: $71,400-$96,600

Level 2: $85,000-$115,000
