AHEAD's ServiceNow Solutions Engineers are the technical experts that collaborate with our AHEAD account teams to help identify, qualify, and build solutions that support our customer's Digital Business transformation. 
 
The AHEAD ServiceNow Solutions Engineer (SSE) will be focused on ServiceNow modules across the board. The SSE is considered a subject matter expert in these areas with responsibility for selling and designing complex solutions. The SSE is also considered an organizational thought leader for their specialty area. 
Responsibilities
  • Active participation in the AHEAD SSE and service delivery teams
  • Be a thought leader for AHEAD clients, responsible for designing, architecting technical solutions 
  • Support the sales teams during engagements by providing advice and solutions or proposals optimized to meet customer technical and business requirements
  • Develop relationships with other ServiceNow SSE team members, leaders, and partners in support of sales objectives
  • Strategize and execute technical sales calls
  • Complete required pre-sales documentation (configurations, pricing, services, presentations, justifications, etc.) quickly and accurately
  • Qualify sales opportunities in terms of customer technical requirements, decision-making process, and funding
  • Present and market the design and value of proposed AHEAD solutions and business justification to customers, prospects, and AHEAD management
  • Participate in the mentorship of entry-level team members
  • Possess strong, detailed product/technology/industry knowledge
  • Knowledge of job-associated software and applications
  • Travel required up to 30%
Qualifications
  • Expertise as a consultant for clients, advising on technical solutions and participating in pre-sales and solution development
  • Expertise in at least one ServiceNow module
  • Strong functional knowledge of the ServiceNow platform across multiple modules
  • ITIL Foundations v3 or higher certification and/or working knowledge of ITIL concepts
  • Working knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodology
  • Passion for problem-solving to solution selling
  • Knowledge of web development or mobile app development, business modeling, database concepts and project management - preferably using Agile Development Methodologies
  • Exceptional oral, written and presentation skills, with ability to organize and present technical material in an easily understood manner
  • Deep insight on technical architectures, IT products and product positioning.
  • ServiceNow certifications and accreditations are strongly desired
  • Experience on other SaaS platforms such as: Tanium, Atlassian, Big Panda, Splunk, Data Dog, Logic Monitor, etc
  • Understanding of JavaScript, HTML and libraries/frameworks such AngularJS, jQuery, Prototype and bootstrap fundamentals a plus
  • Experience with monitoring solutions, end point collection, IoT, machine learning and other emerging technologies a plus
  • Understanding of web services (e.g. SOAP, REST, WSDL, XML) a plus
  • College degree (or equivalent experience) in the fields of Software Engineering, Computer Sciences, or related discipline
$225,000 - $255,000 a year
The compensation range indicated in this posting reflects the On-Target Earnings ("OTE") for this role, which includes a base salary and any applicable target bonus amount. This OTE range may vary based on the candidate's relevant experience, qualifications, and geographic location.
