Scope:CNC Operator is responsible for operating and maintaining computer-controlled machinery to produce precise parts and components in manufacturing settings.

Duties and Responsibilites:

  • Machine Setup and Programming: Configuring CNC machines, entering tooling instructions, and setting zero and reference points for operations.
  • Material Handling: Loading raw materials, managing bar feeders, chucks, and ancillary equipment safely.
  • Operation Monitoring: Running CNC cycles, performing single-step procedures, and monitoring machines during production to maintain quality standards.
  • Quality Assurance: Inspecting finished products, measuring tolerances, and performing de-burring or edge-breaking operations as required.
  • Maintenance: Conducting daily maintenance, lubricating components, changing tool inserts, and reporting machinery issues for timely repair.
  • Documentation: Keeping production and quality logs, recording machine settings, and documenting any operational issues.
  • Safety Compliance: Following safety protocols, wearing protective equipment, and maintaining a clean and safe work environment
