  • 2-year degree in Computer Sciences, IT, or a related discipline; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 5 years in IT

JOB DESCRIPTION

  • Create programs on the iSeries in RPG, RPG SQL, CL and SQL
  • Create reports in Star Query
  • Support Business Applications including:
    • Infor XA
    • CCore
    • Compleo
  • Follow department procedures related to change control and perform other duties as required

BACKGROUND/ SKILLS

  • RPG/CL programming experience.
  • iSeries Job Control
  • Logic Development and troubleshooting

SPECIAL TRAINING/ CERTIFICATES

  • None

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Adhere to Astemo's Safety Policy and practices and report any potential unsafe condition or concern to the Safety department immediately and/or to your direct supervisor.
  • Programming within iSeries in CL, RPG, RPG IV, SQLRPG, SQL
  • Development of reports and systems within Star Query Suite or similar.
  • Support of the CCore and Gentran Systems.
  • Managing and prioritizing several technical activities and tasks simultaneously in order to meet departmental objectives.
  • Troubleshoot and assist with issues on plant floor
  • Responsible for providing "on-call" and off-hours support for production systems.
  • Interface with hardware and software vendors when applicable.
  • Support departmental 6S activities.
  • Perform other duties as required.
