Sirius Technical Services is seeking a Computer Programmer for the Mobile, AL area for a contract to direct opportunity.



Qualifications

Qualifications/ Knowledge/ Experience:

  • Prior experience or education developing applications as well as participating in the final testing process of these applications;
  • One to three years' experience in embedded software development for portable and PC-based devices, and should have one or more published mobile phone or custom PC-based applications;

OR

  • An equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential duties of the job such as those listed above.
  • Will have a passion for working with custom applications and enjoy challenges and problem solving;
  • Possesses the ability to discover, define, and communicate functional requirements of application solutions, especially as applicable to internal process requirements;
  • Analytical method and techniques;
  • Utilize defined core technologies and best practice standards for development;
  • Have an ongoing desire to acquire new skills to ensure technical competency;
  • Should possess proficiency with several of the following:
  • Strong object-oriented design and analysis skills experience


Database and SQL experience:

  • Experience with web technologies preferred as related to Integrated Data Environments similar to SharePoint, Siemens Team center, PTC Wind-chill
  • .NET technologies(VB,C#,ASP, Visual Studio, C++)
  • Can organize and coordinate scheduled deliverables
  • Communication, inter personal skills as applied to interaction with coworkers, supervisory, and executive personnel sufficient to exchange or convey information, give/receive work direction
  • US Citizenship Required
