Job description

The IT System Architect designs, configures, implements, and optimizes the Company's core technology systems, with a strong focus on JD Edwards (JDE) EnterpriseOne, IBM iSeries environments, and related technologies. This role is responsible for ensuring the scalability, reliability, and performance of critical business systems by applying sound systems architecture principles, expertise in JDE EnterpriseOne and IBM iSeries platforms, and advanced database performance tuning techniques to support the Company's operational and strategic objectives.

Minimum Qualifications
  • Must exhibit a bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent from an accredited four-year college or university. Proof of degree required. A transcript or diploma would be acceptable and must be provided.
  • Must exhibit a working knowledge of systems design principles relevant to JD Edwards (JDE) EnterpriseOne and International Business Machines (IBM) iSeries system configurations.
  • Must exhibit a working knowledge of relational database concepts, including the ability to construct syntactically correct Structured Query Language (SQL) statements to query, modify, create, and delete relational data.
  • Must exhibit a working knowledge in the use of word processing, spreadsheet, and database software, such as Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.
  • Must be physically able to perform the essential functions of the job, with or without reasonable accommodation.
  • Must be able to work extra hours weekdays, weekends, and holidays as required to fulfill job duties.
  • Must exhibit good reasoning and analytical skills for identifying and resolving problems.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Prior experience as a Systems Architect or similar role with a focus on JDE EnterpriseOne, IBM iSeries, and database performance tuning.
  • Prior successful implementation of system architecture principles, design patterns, and best practices.
  • Prior experience supporting JDE EnterpriseOne system administration, including Configurable Network Computing (CNC) concepts.
  • Prior experience implementing and/or maintaining JDE EnterpriseOne security, such as AllOut Security.
  • Prior experience with JDE EnterpriseOne promotions, package builds, and deployments, such as Object Management Workbench (OMW), Web OMW, and PackMan.
  • Prior experience with JDE EnterpriseOne User Defined Object (UDO) security, approvals, promotions, and sharing, such as orchestrations, form extensions, custom grids, etc.
  • Prior experience with JDE EnterpriseOne Pages.
  • Extensive experience in database performance tuning, query optimization, and database maintenance tasks for Oracle or SQL Server databases.
  • Exhibit proficient knowledge in the use of IBM iSeries, Linux, and Windows operating systems and related components.
