Position Summary:
The HRIS Analyst serves as a liaison for internal departments such as Payroll, Human Resources, Information Technology and external vendors such as Dayforce and Alight in coordinating data/information relating to PCA associates. The HRIS Analyst is responsible for configuring systems, managing numerous data interfaces, integrating various applications, and creating ad hoc reports.
Internally, the HRIS Analyst interacts with associates in all areas of the company including human resources, corporate finance, plant management and finance, and local payroll administrators, etc. The HRIS Analyst is expected to develop solid working relationships with these individuals in order to strengthen the human resources efforts throughout PCA. Externally, the HRIS Analyst will interact with the HRMS vendor and other PCA contracted service providers.
Principle Accountabilities:
  • Maintain Dayforce entitlement, time entry, and pay policies as needed to support the PCA Payroll Department's requirements.
  • Maintain internal database files and tables as needed to support the requirements of human resources administration, and all other corporate needs, such as IT data warehouse, and sales compensation.
  • Review and document recurring interfaces consistently.
  • Responsible for ensuring the overall accuracy and integrity of employee data within the human resources management system (HRMS). This is achieved by reviewing system reports, maintaining and creating audit procedures, staying informed about company changes that may impact the data, and addressing data/system errors to ensure accurate information.
  • Maintain and update issue logs and work directly with Payroll or Benefits to resolve all issues on time.
  • Identify the needs of standard and ad hoc requests from internal and external customers by defining report parameters, compiling timely and accurate data, and providing further insight and interpretation of data as necessary.
  • Provide system and automation support to the HR department, aiming to streamline processes and improve departmental performance.
  • Build continuous relationships with the HRMS and benefits vendors for support issues, stay on top of system changes and upgrades, and participate in the vendor's customer forums for best practices and information.
  • Responsible for understanding and following PCA's policies and procedures; for sharing information that would benefit other members of the team; and for finding ways to improve service to our customers.

Position Requirements
  • Education: bachelor's degree in business, human resources, or computer science preferred or equivalent experience.
  • 5 years of previous work experience with an HRMS system, Dayforce preferred.
  • Strong understanding of entitlement, time entry, and pay policies.
  • Previous system and reporting writing experience or previous experience with HRIS and relational database reporting.
  • Strong working knowledge of PC applications, including an intermediate understanding of Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Thorough understanding of Microsoft Access and relational databases. SQL preferred.
  • Strong computer typing skills with a high degree of data accuracy.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively over the phone.
  • Solid written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate with multiple audiences and purposes.
  • Strong appreciation for the retention and management of confidential information.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple requests simultaneously.
  • Previous experience working in a team environment preferred, or a strong understanding of the importance of open communication and information sharing among co-workers.
  • Must be able to travel as necessary and possess a valid U.S. driver's license.

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS
  • Starting salary range for position: $78,400 - $98,000
  • Bonus: Annual - Based upon individual contribution and overall, Company performance.
  • Paid Vacation: Three (3) weeks per calendar year. Pro-rata Vacation during the initial year of hire based upon start date within the calendar year.
  • Paid Holidays.
  • Within the first 30 days of employment, an employee (and their dependents) is eligible to enroll in certain benefit coverages -- medical, dental, and vision - and are automatically enrolled in life, AD&D, and disability coverages.
  • Upon hire, an employee is automatically enrolled in the 401k plan. The plan offers both pre-tax and Roth contribution options along with employer provided matching contributions
