Job description

Job Title: Computer Assembler
Pay Rate: $15.00 per hour
Job Type: Long-Term Temporary Contractor
Schedule: Full-time (7:00am – 3:45pm)

Job Description
We are seeking reliable and detail-oriented Computer Assemblers to join our team. In this role, you will perform system and component assembly activities following Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and work instructions in a fast-paced production environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform system and component assembly according to procedures and instructions
  • Assemble parts and position, align, and fasten units using hand and power tools
  • Connect cables, wiring, and components based on specifications
  • Read blueprints and follow assembly sequences for electromechanical units
  • Inspect, test, and adjust completed units to meet quality standards and customer requirements
  • Label and identify system components accurately
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment

Additional Work Areas
  • Rack Cable Labeling: Seated, repetitive work; light lifting
  • Rack Assembly: Physical work; frequent lifting (20–25 lbs); use of hand and power tools
  • Rack Cabling: Light lifting
  • Assembly Operators: Fine motor skills required; working with small/tiny parts
  • Unboxing/Material Handling: Up to 25 lbs lifting
  • Chassis Assembly: Repetitive lifting up to 35 lbs

Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED required
  • 0–2+ years of manufacturing or assembly experience preferred
