Responsibilities:

  • Understandsย and adheresย to the requirements of the Business Management System andย perform duties in a manner that supports theย company'sย Mission Statement.ย 

  • Completesย the list of competencies listed in the "Job Competency Check Sheet" for this position within theย timeframeย specified by the Quality Manager.ย 

  • Performsย inspection andย testsย precisely as described in the applicable procedures and work instructions. This includes properย and safeย sampleย collection and their preparation.ย 

  • Demonstrates proper use and maintenance ofย labย instruments and test equipmentย including theย verificationย their calibration status prior to use.ย 

  • Accuratelyย enters test results perย current ISOย 9001ย and company standards.ย 

  • Understandsย andย interpretsย test and inspectionย resultsย and communicate issues to managementย in a timelyย manner.ย 

  • Maintains a safe working environment, following all safety rulesย and proceduresย including Job Hazard/PPE assessment,ย report any unsafe conditions,ย incidentsย or near-misses.ย 

  • Performsย inventory cycle counts as needed.ย 

  • Detail-oriented to ensure reliable and precise test results andย accurateย record keeping.ย 

  • Understandsย and followsย good laboratory practices; work in a safe manner, understand the location,ย purposeย and use of Safety Data Sheets (SDS).ย 

  • Demonstrates real worldย Rootย Causeย Analysisย (RCA)ย in addressing day to day challenges.ย ย

Qualifications:

Required:ย 

  • High School Diploma or GEDย requiredย ย 

  • Entry levelย computer skills inย Microsoft Office 365 Suite.ย ย 

  • Must be able to work in a laboratory environment.ย 

  • Ability to work shifts.ย 

  • Visual Acuity (including color perception).ย 

  • Good Hearing.ย 

Preferred:ย 

  • Associate's degree, Engineering, Applied or Physical Science is preferred.ย 

  • At least 1 year of relevant work experience.ย 

  • Previousย experience in a production environment desired

Work Environment:

  • Will beย locatedย at either the Winter Haven, FL facility.ย
