This role joins the CAD engineering team to support and enhance the software, tools, and workflows that power memory design. The position partners closely with engineers worldwide to ensure CAD environments are reliable, efficient, and ready to support advanced design challenges.
Responsibilities
  • Coordinate CAD software changes and updates with global CAD teams.
  • Support design, product, and process engineers in the use of CAD tools and design flows.
  • Maintain and improve CAD infrastructure, including Methodics, Perforce, Jenkins, Virtuoso, web servers, and internal applications.
  • Develop and enhance tools and flows for design setup, circuit design, verification, performance optimization, and tapeout.
  • Apply CAD software engineering methods and techniques to support product development and assess architecture and hardware limitations.

Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Microelectronics, or a related field.
  • Programming experience in Python or an equivalent high-level programming language.
  • Experience supporting or developing CAD software, tools, or workflows.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with engineers across global teams.
  • Experience leveraging Artificial Intelligence (AI) or working with AI-enabled tools and data-driven methodologies to improve CAD workflows, productivity, and system efficiency.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Master's degree or equivalent in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering.
  • Experience with EDA/CAD tools from vendors such as Cadence or Synopsys.
  • Experience implementing and supporting CAD software projects.
  • Strong communication skills to support cross-site and multi-functional collaboration.
  • Experience applying AI or leveraging AI-enabled analytics to enhance CAD tool development, automation, or design methodology improvements.
