Job Summary
We are seeking a versatile Software Developer / Business Analyst to support a federal government program on-site in North Charleston, SC. This role contributes to ongoing system improvement and modernization efforts, supporting both legacy and current technologies. The ideal candidate will bring strong analytical skills, foundational development experience, and the ability to work within structured processes to help streamline and enhance application functionality.
The selected individual will assist with preparing application views, support development activities, facilitate both virtual and in-person end-user training, help manage UAT progression, provide Level 2 customer support, and contribute to system documentation and related project tasks.
Candidates must possess an active Secret or Top Secret security clearance.
Responsibilities
  • Follow established procedures to prepare and scaffold partial Razor page views.
  • Ensure newly created views maintain consistency with the layout and behavior of legacy web forms / ASP.NET pages.
  • Collaborate with senior developers responsible for integrating and programming the views.
  • Assist with converting a large volume of existing pages into organized partial views.
  • Review system functionality to understand business rules, workflows, and data requirements.
  • Translate legacy UI behavior into accurate, functional partial views.
  • Work closely with developers, testers, and stakeholders to clarify or refine requirements.
  • Provide Level 2 customer support for both the legacy system and the modernized application.
  • Troubleshoot user-reported issues and coordinate with development staff for resolution.
  • Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT), including coordination, test execution, and tracking of defects and progress.
  • Facilitate virtual and in-person end-user training sessions for system updates, new features, and modernization rollouts.
  • Prepare training materials, demonstrations, guides, and user support resources.
  • Work with program leadership to ensure training content aligns with evolving system capabilities.
  • Produce and maintain system documentation, procedural materials, training guides, and view specifications.
  • Support government-required documentation, reporting, and compliance efforts.

Education and Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, or a related field.
  • 4+ years of experience in software development.

Required Skills
  • Basic hands-on experience with:

o Visual Studio 2022 (VS2022)
o Azure DevOps
o .NET Core Razor Pages
o Azure SQL
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to follow structured, repeatable processes with attention to detail.
