Job Description
Join the leader in Environment Testing. Eurofins Environment Testing has a fulltime entry level opportunity with benefits.
This is a great opportunity to gain experience in a laboratory and grow with the organization.
Full-time entry level position with Benefits, Monday - Friday. 8:00am-4:30pm. Brief weekend work will be required approximately one weekend per month on a rotating schedule.
Candidates living within a commutable distance of Danvers, MA are encouraged to apply.
Compensation $20-22/hour plus benefits.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Project Manager Assistant
  • Project set-up
  • Creates bottle orders
  • Schedules courier or field sampler, if needed
  • Confirms non-Eurofins Environment Testing America subcontract labs are on the approved list and set up as vendors for existing work
  • Generates accounting software requisition when sending subcontract samples
  • Sample Receipt and Sample Login
  • Reviews log-in
  • Generates subcontract paperwork
  • Sends client sample receipt confirmation
  • Reviews draft invoice
  • Confirms that any client needed information (purchase order, project number, etc.) is recorded in LIMS for invoicing
  • Reporting
  • Creates and issues final report by client due date
  • Issues final data package
  • State reporting forms and submission
  • Data upload
  • Compiles case narrative
  • Invoicing
  • Reviews final invoice before issuing to client
  • Generates credit/debit memos as needed
  • Submits credit/debit memos for approval
  • Submits approved credit/debit memos to client, if needed
  • Submits revised invoices

Laboratory Assistant
  • Receives samples and log samples in to LIMS
  • Interfaces with customers in person and over the phone.
  • Maintains clean and tidy laboratory space
  • Maintains inventory of sampling bottles and laboratory supplies
  • Assembles bottle kits
  • Prepares shipments
  • May be trained in analysis procedures if interested

Qualifications
Basic Minimum Qualifications:
  • Associate degree (2 years client-relationship/client service experience may substitute for degree)
  • High school Chemistry coursework, basic laboratory experience
  • Environmental laboratory experience
  • 1-3 years business experience required
  • Authorization to work in the United States without restriction or sponsorship
  • May need to lift up to 50lbs coolers of samples on occasion.
  • Demonstrates strong organizational skills.
  • Pays close attention to detail.
  • Possesses physical strength necessary to lift and move heavy boxes received by the lab.
  • Exhibits ability to use LIMS software competently.
  • Reading, writing and speaking skills

  • Use calculator/mathematical formulas and concepts
