Your Role:

As a Mechanical Engineer, you’ll be at the forefront of our design and manufacturing process, turning concepts into functional machines. The ideal candidate is not only technically proficient but also thrives in applying real-world mechanical experience to their designs.

Note: This is an entry level engineering position where practical mechanical experience is highly favored, if you have experience building cars, robotics, or other mechanical projects in general, please let us know.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Utilize 3D modeling software (Autodesk Inventor or SolidWorks) to design and refine mechanical systems and components.
  • Develop and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications, ensuring clarity and precision.
  • Apply expertise in geometry, mathematics, and GD&T to ensure designs meet stringent tolerance and fitment requirements.
  • Create and maintain detailed engineering documentation, including Bills of Materials (BOMs), assembly instructions, and technical reports.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure designs are manufacturable and meet project goals.
  • Troubleshoot and optimize mechanical systems, providing practical, hands-on solutions when needed.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Practical Mechanical Experience: Demonstrated real-world experience working with mechanical systems, machinery, or fabrication.
  • CAD Proficiency: Proficient in Autodesk Inventor or SolidWorks for 3D modeling; experience with AutoCAD is a plus.
  • Blueprint Reading: Ability to interpret and annotate detailed technical drawings accurately.
  • Organized & Detail-Oriented: Capable of managing multiple projects, meeting deadlines, and producing high-quality results.
  • Team Player: Able to work collaboratively with engineers, designers, and technicians.

Experience:

  • Engineering degree or equivalent practical experience in mechanical systems
  • Familiarity with machinery and automated system design is a plus.
