Entry Level A&P Mechanic – North Perry Airport, FL

Department: Maintenance
Reports To: Lead Mechanic/DOM
Location: North Perry Airport, FL
Compensation: $30.00 - $45.00 per hour (dependent on experience, certifications, and qualifications).

Job Summary:
The A&P Helicopter Mechanic is responsible for inspecting, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing rotary-wing aircraft to ensure safe and reliable operation. This role performs scheduled and unscheduled maintenance in compliance with FAA regulations, manufacturer specifications, and company policies. The mechanic may collaborate with other mechanics, maintenance leadership, and technical personnel to diagnose and resolve mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and avionics issues, while maintaining accurate documentation and promoting a strong culture of safety and quality.


Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine inspections, maintenance, and repair of Bell, Airbus, Agusta, Sikorsky, and MD model aircraft
  • Conduct component overhauls as required
  • Perform and document all work IAW manufacturer’s manuals, regulations, and repair station manual, as required
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment
  • May perform other duties as assigned

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Valid FAA A&P license
  • Efficient computer skills
  • Ability to complete a favorable background check
  • Must pass an FAA Drug Test
  • Must be able to reliably commute to North Perry Airport, FL
