Job Description:

This is a hybrid position based out of Orlando-Florida. Qualified applicants must reside within driving distance to our Orlando offices.

Summary:

This position supports the creation and maintenance of software applications under close supervision. This is an entry-level position for individuals with the aptitude, educational background, or related work experience to begin a career in application development.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Assist in research and fact-finding to develop, modify, or enhance applications and information systems.
  • Assist in preparing detailed specifications from which programs will be written.
  • Design, code, test, debug, document, and maintain programs.
  • Other duties as assigned or required.

Knowledge and Skills Required

  • Typically has 0-2 years of relevant work experience.
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Systems, or related fields; or equivalent work experience.
  • Technical Skills: .NET, C#, Git, Azure DevOps (ADO), Windows Form, Visual Studios, Angular & Kendo (preferred), SQL Server and relational databases, XML, HTML, JSP, web services (WCF, ASMX, and REST)

Communication and Interpersonal Skills:

  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
  • Ability to prioritize and handle multiple projects effectively.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • At a minimum, the ability to work from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Monday through Friday. Consistent attendance is required.
  • Ability to accept supervision.
  • Ability to foster, develop and maintain professional and collaborative working relationships. Must be able to get along with others (i.e., peers, supervisors, outside customers, and vendors).

Physical/Mental Demands:

  • The ability to work with confidential information.

  • Repetitive and continual keyboard activity and interaction with display monitors is required.
  • Local/daily travel by automobile and overnight business travel by air and/or automobile may be required.

Sedentary work: The majority of activity in this position involves sedentary work including sitting, standing, twisting, walking and the occasional need to lift or move objects.
