Job Summary
Auffenberg Dealer Group of Illinois is looking for an entry-level Autobody Collision Repair Technician to join our team. In this role, the technician will assess, repair, and restore vehicles damaged in collisions. The technician will perform auto body repair work, refinishing, and minor mechanical work in accordance with dealership and manufacturer standards. This full-time position is based out of the Belleville, Illinois location, and we offer competitive pay and benefits.
Compensation & Benefits
The salary for this position is competitive and commensurate with experience. Auffenberg Dealer Group of Illinois also offers a robust benefits package that includes medical, dental, and vision plans, paid holidays, paid time off, and 401(k) matching.
Responsibilities
• Diagnose and repair auto body damage and defects
• Provide detailed estimates to the customer
• Perform auto body repairs and refinishing
• Dismantle and assemble parts as necessary
• Perform minor mechanical work where needed
• Ensure quality of service and standards of safety are met
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of technology, technical specifications, and safety standards in the automotive industry
• Perform basic service calls and other duties as assigned
