Longo Toyota's Collision Center is looking for a Valet Final Wash to join our amazing Team! In this role, you will gain exposure to an entry level detail position in a body shop environment where you will gain the knowledge and skills to help you start your career. If you are ready to learn and have a positive attitude, then we can teach you the rest!
The Valet Final Wash Position has a Pay Scale consisting of the following elements and ranges. Wages include Base Hourly Compensation of $18.50.
*This position is 100% on site at Longo Toyota in El Monte, CA.

Responsibilities
  • Washes and details vehicles as part of the final delivery process, including exterior washing, drying, vacuuming interiors, cleaning windows, wiping down dashboards, and removing dust, dirt, or debris.
  • Applies waxes and polishes to vehicle exteriors to enhance finish and ensure a high-quality presentation.
  • Ensures all vehicles meet Collision Repair Center quality standards before delivery to guests.
  • Installs and removes disposable seat covers, steering wheel covers, floor mats, and ID tags in all vehicles brought into the Collision Repair Center.
  • Drives vehicles from the Collision Repair Center lane to their proper places in the lot.
  • Maintains the parking lot in a neat and organized manner.
  • Ensures all vehicles in the lot are kept locked and secure.
  • Assists in moving disabled vehicles in or around the Collision Repair Center.
  • Retrieves customer vehicles from the lot when requested.
  • Inspects each vehicle for lot damage that may have occurred during its stay in the Collision Repair Center.
  • Records any external vehicle damage (scratches, dents) and vehicle information on check-in sheet and submits to designated personnel.
  • Cleans and maintains work areas, equipment, and the Collision Repair Center department to ensure a safe, professional, and organized environment.
  • Follows all company safety policies, operations, and practices.
  • Assists in all other areas of the Collision Repair Center, as needed.
  • Maintains high ethical standards.
  • Maintains a professional appearance.

Qualifications
  • A high school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum of six (6) months customer service experience, desired
  • Ability to coordinate activities with other employees; read and comprehend instructions and information in the English language; work well with the public.
  • Must have a valid driver's license and have and maintain an acceptable, safe driving record.

  • Frequently bend, stretch, twist, or reach with their body, arms, and/or legs; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl and talk or hear.
  • Must be able to work outdoors in all weather conditions including low and high temperatures, precipitation and wind, noisy environments, and small and/or enclosed spaces.
  • Adjusting, moving, and lifting objects up to 50 pounds.
  • Moving self in different positions to accomplish tasks in various environments including tight and confined spaces.
  • Remaining in a stationary position, often standing, or sitting for prolonged periods.
  • Operating motor vehicles and/or heavy equipment.
  • Ascending or descending ladders, stairs, scaffolding, ramps, and poles.
