Overview
Direct Counsel is recruiting a mid-level finance associate attorney to join a rapidly growing Structured Finance practice. The role focuses on representing investment banks and/or asset managers in structuring and documenting collateralized loan obligation (CLO) transactions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Structure and document CLO transactions for financial institutions and asset managers.

  • Draft, review, and negotiate complex finance agreements.

  • Advise clients on transactional and regulatory considerations.

  • Collaborate closely with partners, clients, and internal teams to manage deal execution.

Qualifications

  • Mid-level experience in structured finance, preferably representing banks or asset managers.

  • JD from an accredited law school and active bar membership in New York.
