We are pediatric dental office practice in search of dental assistant to be part of our growing and dynamic team! We are seeking a candidate who is pleasant, brings a positive attitude to the workplace, is a dedicated team player, reliable and enthusiastic about professional growth. Dental assistants should possess strong organizational skills, excellent communication abilities, and efficiency in their responsibilities.

Responsibilities

  • Welcomes customers in the dental office
  • Prepare customers for treatments or checkups ensuring their comfort
  • Select and set up instruments, equipment and material needed
  • Sterilize instruments according to regulations
  • Assist the dentist through 4-handed dentistry
  • Undertake lab tasks as instructed
  • Provide oral hygiene and post-operative care instructions
  • Keep the dental room clean and well-stocked
  • Works well with children

Skills

  • Bilingual - Fluent in English and Spanish (Preferred)
  • Proven experience as dental assistant
  • RHS and ICE certificated (Preferred)
  • Understanding of health & safety regulations
  • Excellent communication and people skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Well-organized and reliable

Hours: Monday - Friday 8:15am-5:00pm, Saturday 7:15am-2:00pm. Every Saturday's requirement. (weekday OFF assigned)
