We are currently seeking staff accountants, entry level with up to three years experience in a CPA firm, to join our assurance team. You will receive hands‐on training and guidance from the supervisor, manager, or principal in charge of the engagement. You will also receive training on technical skills, teamwork, the firm’s systems, operations, and relationships. The firm expects you to demonstrate flexibility, have a willingness to seek out advice, and exhibit an ambition for learning.


Position details and requirements ‐

 Perform audits and other client services in the office and at clients’ offices.

 Perform audit procedures and create all documentation necessary to support audit work papers, assist in the preparation of audited financial statements for governmental and nonprofit clients.

 Read and be familiar with pronouncements from the AICPA, FASB, and GASB.

 Sit for and pass the CPA examination (if eligible).

 Stay up to date on firm policies, procedures, and the AICPA and the state CPA society’s rules, regulations, and Code of Ethics.

 Look for opportunities to provide additional services to our clients.

 Bachelor’s degree in Business, with focus in Accounting required.

 Good work ethic, service driven, strong organizational skills, and the ability to take on responsibility. Excellent communication skills a must.

 Must be able to travel to client locations (usually within thirty to ninety minutes from the office), approximately 50% of the time.
