Job description

Panel Builder:
Grand Rapids, MI Area | Permanent Position

Join a growing machine builder in the Grand Rapids, MI area. You’ll have the opportunity to build electrical controls panels, wire new machines and assemble electrical components for new Automation Equipment.  Become a Controls Electrician for a growing machine builder.   All levels of experience are welcome including entry level with basic skills.  

Responsibilities for the Panel Builder:
  • Build, wire, install, and troubleshoot electrical control panels, junction boxes, limit switches, sensors, motors (AC/DC), conduit, and other electrical and mechanical components.
  • Build and wire electrical panels.
  • Wire new machines and assemble equipment to ensure optimal functionality.
  • Provide on-site support to install and troubleshoot machines at customer facilities.

Preferred Qualifications for the Panel Builder:
  • Experience assembling and wiring machines.
  • Panel Build experience.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics.
  • Familiarity with electrical codes and standards.
  • Knowledge of pneumatics and hydraulics is a plus.
  • Willingness to travel 10% of the time.
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen or Green Card holder.
