You will help to build the sheet metal designs for HVAC projects across the valley. What you build will go into building such as, hospitals, schools, fire stations, and government buildings, for example. This is an entry-level role and does not require extensive previous experience or knowledge.Pay$20.00 to $28.00 – Pay Rate Determined in Interview.Your Duties and ResponsibilitiesFabrication, Assembly, & Production SupportFabricate high-precision, commercial-grade sheet metal components-including ductwork, fittings, transitions, and complex custom assemblies-based on engineered drawings and project specifications. Set up, operate, and adjust fabrication equipment such as CNC plasma tables, press brakes, shears, rollers, and lock-forming machinery to ensure accuracy, efficiency, and repeatability. Execute fabrication work in alignment with production schedules to support commercial construction and service timelines, adapting to shifting priorities as required.Quality Control & DocumentationPerform dimensional verification and tolerance checks to ensure fabricated components meet design and project requirements prior to release. Maintain accurate production records, material usage tracking, and quality documentation to support accountability and traceability. Proactively identify, troubleshoot, and resolve fabrication issues, material inconsistencies, or drawing discrepancies to prevent downstream rework.Material Handling & Workflow CoordinationStage, organize, and prepare completed ductwork and fabricated materials for efficient transport to commercial job sites. Collaborate with project managers, shop leadership, and field installation teams to prioritize workloads and address time-sensitive fabrication needs. Support continuous workflow coordination between fabrication, warehouse, and delivery operations to optimize throughput and minimize delays.Equipment Care & Safety ComplianceConduct routine inspections, preventative maintenance, and basic troubleshooting of fabrication equipment and hand tools to ensure operational reliability. Maintain strict compliance with shop safety procedures, OSHA regulations, and company quality standards.
