The Opportunity

As a Machine Operator, you will operate and maintain machinery to produce high-quality parts in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. You will ensure machines run smoothly at capacity and meet quality standards while maintaining a clean and safe workspace.

2nd Shift (12:00 pm-8:30pm)

Key Responsibilities

  • Set up machinery and tools for daily operation
  • Start, operate, and monitor machinery according to instructions and safety guidelines
  • Make machine adjustments as needed to improve performance and maintain quality
  • Identify and troubleshoot issues with machines or tools promptly
  • Perform quality checks on finished parts, using inspection tools as needed
  • Accurately follow reporting and recordkeeping procedures
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area
  • Clean and perform routine maintenance on machinery and tools
  • Comply with all safety and health regulations
  • Perform other related duties as assigned to support production needs
Requirements:

What You Bring

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Previous machine operation experience in a manufacturing environment preferred
  • Familiarity with machining processes and production safety practices
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
  • Ability to perform basic measurements and calculations related to machining
  • Knowledge of machining tools and equipment
  • Knowledge of tooling setup and selection for CNC operations
  • Ability to use inspection tools to perform quality checks
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Able to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
  • Ability to stand, bend, and walk for prolonged periods.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly and lift/twist with 25 pounds repeatedly

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience operating Haas, Doosan, and Hwacheon CNC machines
  • Basic CNC programming or program editing experience
  • Basic troubleshooting and preventative maintenance on CNC equipment
  • Experience working with various materials
  • Familiarity with Lean manufacturing or continuous improvement practices
  • Experience using ERP or digital tracking systems for work orders and quality documentation
