Job description

Legacy Talent Search is currently seeking candidates for a CNC Machine Operator role in Vancouver, WA. Our client is a well-established industry leader known for innovation and a commitment to delivering the highest quality precision components. Key Responsibilities:
· Operate CNC Mills, Lathes, and other machining equipment to produce parts according to specifications.
· Load and unload materials and ensure proper machine setup for production runs.
· Monitor machine operations to detect malfunctions or out-of-tolerance conditions and notify appropriate personnel.
· Perform basic adjustments to machine offsets and tooling as needed to maintain quality standards.
· Read and follow blueprints, work instructions, and job travelers.
· Conduct in-process inspections using measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges.
· Maintain consistent production flow while operating 1–2 machines simultaneously.
· Document production activity, scrap, and quality checks accurately.
· Perform routine cleaning and basic preventative maintenance on machines.
· Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized work environment.
· Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to ensure production goals are met.
· Assist with setup tasks or secondary operations as needed.
· Perform other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
· High school diploma or GED required.
· 1+ years of CNC machine operation experience preferred (entry-level candidates with relevant training considered).
· Ability to read basic blueprints and follow written and verbal instructions.
· Basic math skills, including working with decimals and measurements.
· Familiarity with measuring tools such as calipers and micrometers.
· Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
· Ability to lift up to 30 lbs regularly (up to 50 lbs occasionally) and stand for extended periods.
