Job description

JOB SUMMARY:

While upholding Hoytโ€™s Policies and Mission and Vision Statements, the CNC Operator Level 1 is responsible for safe and proficient operation of the CNC machines, deburring and inspection of manufacturing handles and small parts for bows. Level 1 is familiar with machining terminology and machining principles. Works to meet the schedule, reduce scrap and communicates ways for shop to improve.

I โ€“ ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

Upholds production and quality standards: This person is responsible for the safe operation of machines. Ensures efficient material flow through the production area. Performs inspection at designated AQL levels. Maintains proper care of equipment and machinery, as well as cleanliness and organization of the work area. Cleans and organizes designated area within the machine shop to conform to MSP standard. Report scrap and non-conformances. Performs other duties as instructed by supervisor.

Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Physical environment โ€“ Works in production environment with exposure to varying noise and temperature levels. May be required to do moderate to heavy lifting and carrying, stooping, standing, reaching, walking and standing for long periods. Climbing ladders and exposure to heights is required. Mental pressure โ€“ Demands to meet department quality standards and daily schedule requirements.
