Your role and responsibilities

  • Create demand and identify new opportunities within assigned accounts, territories, and offering portfolios.
  • Engage and qualify prospective clients through phone, email, social media, video outreach, events, marketing programs, and other digital selling channels.
  • Develop and maintain an active pipeline by uncovering expansion opportunities, renewals, upgrades, modernization needs, and customer lifetime value opportunities.
  • Participate in discovery conversations to understand customer business objectives, priorities, challenges, success criteria, and buying needs.
  • Position IBM value propositions as a trusted advisor by aligning brand offerings to customer goals, industry trends, and measurable business outcomes.
  • Collaborate with Technology Sellers, Technical Specialists, Customer Success Managers, Account Executives, Business Partners, Marketing, and Ecosystem teams to progress opportunities and support successful deal execution.
  • Communicate IBM technology value clearly to business and technical stakeholders through presentations, proposals, account plans, and business storytelling.
  • Use digital and AI-powered sales techniques, customer data, market insights, and customer data, market insights, and contemporary offering knowledge to improve engagement strategies and achieve strategic brand outcomes.
