Job Summary

The Client Service Representative is an entry level role responsible for supporting the day-to-day servicing needs of commercial banking clients within the Commercial Client Experience Unit (CCEU), operating under the Treasury Management Sales Engagement organization.
This role provides timely, accurate, and efficient operational support to Client Experience Associates, Client Experience Officers, and Relationship Management teams by executing routine servicing requests, processing transactions, and assisting with client inquiries. The Client Service Representative contributes to the delivery of a white-glove client experience by ensuring consistency, responsiveness, and attention to detail across all servicing interactions.
Working under moderate supervision, the role supports a wide range of treasury and deposit-related activities, including account maintenance, transaction processing, documentation preparation, and issue resolution. The Client Service Representative collaborates closely with internal partners to ensure seamless service delivery and adherence to service level expectations.

Job Responsibilities:

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Routine Servicing and Processing

  • Process account and online banking maintenance, new account documentation, transactions, wires, transaction monitoring, and basic treasury servicing tasks.
  • Ensure accuracy, completeness and timeliness to support a smooth onboarding and client experience.
  • Complete KYC activities in accordance with ASA/AML policies

Client Inquiry Support

  • Respond to routine inquiries from a broad range of Commercial Banking clients with both basic and complex banking products and account structures.
  • Provide clear, courteous, and service-oriented responses that reinforce sales and relationship team efforts.
  • Will identify cross-sell referral opportunities for other products and services as appropriate to client needs.

Issue Research and Escalation

  • analyzes client issues and researches to respond accordingly; may coordinate with other departments as needed.
  • Escalate potential client-impacting issues promptly to AVP/VP and notify Relationship Managers and Treasury Management Sales Officers when appropriate.

Compliance, Operations and Quality Control

  • Reviews various reports including new account reports, check fraud, significant activity, significant change, large deposit, detailed transaction report and month-end reports.
  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory and internal policies.
  • Monitor account activity and identify potential risks including overdrafts, fraud indicators, and unusual transactions.

Team Support and Cross Training

  • Assist team members and support special projects
  • Maintain flexibility across tasks to support sales-driven priorities and emerging client needs.

DECISION AUTHORITY

  • Operates under limited decision authority and follows established procedures."
  • May make basic servicing and risk decisions within defined parameters but must escalate exceptions or complex items.
  • Ensures timely communication of issues that may impact client experience or sales commitments.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Required Qualifications:

  • Education level required: College, Vocational or Associates Degree (2 years or equivalent)
  • 2+ Years related banking experience in a similar role

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Undergraduate Degree (4 years or equivalent)
