About the Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Classic Car Restoration Technician to join a growing restoration shop in DeKalb, Illinois. This is an outstanding opportunity for a technician who is passionate about classic cars, muscle cars, hot rods, and vintage vehicles and enjoys seeing restoration projects through from start to finish.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform full and partial restorations on classic, muscle, hot rod, and vintage vehicles
  • Rebuild engines and drivetrains
  • Repair suspension, steering, and brake systems
  • Diagnose and repair electrical systems
  • Perform metal repair and fabrication as needed
  • Assist with bodywork and paint preparation
  • Source and recommend restoration parts
  • Document project progress throughout the restoration process
  • Deliver high-quality craftsmanship on every project

Qualifications
