Job description

We are currently looking for an Assistant Structural Engineer in our Atlanta, GA office.

The Entry Level Structural Engineer candidate will actively participate in muti-discipline design teams for water and wastewater infrastructure projects. The required experience level is 0-3 years. Prospective applicants must be progressing towards a BS or MS degree in Civil Engineering (structural concentration) from an ABET accredited institution with a BS graduate degree achieved prior to employment. Prospective applicants must also be in progress of obtaining EI status via successful completion of the FE exam. In time, candidates will gain the experience and knowledge to obtain PE and/or SE professional license(s).

The position will include performing structural design and analysis of environmental structures such as low-rise industrial buildings, pump stations, process basins, treatment facilities, dams, and spillways. Design responsibilities will include computer-aided design, AutoCad/Revit drafting/modeling, and full structural design per the governing building codes. Experience in reinforced concrete, steel, and reinforced masonry preferred. Candidates will also perform construction management tasks such as shop drawing review and field inspections.
