This role is not remote.
This role is not entry-level, at least 2 years of relevant experience required
This role is not a resume filler, side hustle, or for career exploration
If you struggle with follow-through, hate juggling multiple priorities, or need constant direction to stay productive - then just think Bumble, and SWIPE LEFT.
Recruiters, staffing agencies, headhunters, or anyone who "just wants to hop on a quick call":
Please don't contact us. We won't respond
This is not a challenge. It's a boundary.
Now that we've got that out of the way...
ABOUT SPEEDPRO CHICAGO LOOP
Great. Big. Graphics
That's not just our tagline - it's our obsession.
SpeedPro Chicago Loop creates premium large-format digital graphics for some of the most recognizable brands, agencies, and businesses in Chicago and nationwide. From wall murals to window graphics to event graphics taller than your first apartment, we help clients Make Their Vision Visible.
We are an over caffinated, fast-paced, entrepreneurial, quality-driven, client-obsessed, veteran-owned, print shop that produces miracles no sanely owned print company would ever accept. If you like variety, creative problem solving, and working with people who hustle hard and laugh even harder... you'll fit right in.
ABOUT THE ROLE
We're looking for someone who thrives at making things happen. Someone who keeps projects moving, supports client communication, helps the two long-time friends and owners stay focused, and makes sure the trains run on time. You are the glue. The force multiplier. The "yep, I already handled that" person.
This role touches client service, estimating, project coordination, communication, and sales support-with huge room to grow into full-time and expanded responsibilities.
If you love a mix of structure and chaos, enjoy working with clients, can juggle multiple tasks without melting down, and actually get a thrill from completing things... read on.
WHAT YOU'LL DO (THE "MISSION")
Client Communications & Intake
  • Field incoming calls and emails without sounding like we hired a Chatbot
  • Move customers through the right next step with confidence
  • Gather project specs and help clients feel supported, heard, and guided

Project Coordination
  • Assist with project workflow from inquiry → estimate → production → delivery
  • Keep timelines, task lists, and updates accurate
  • Coordinate with owners, production staff, and clients to keep jobs on track

Estimating & Sales Support
  • Create estimates/quotes using our tools and templates
  • Follow up on open quotes, warm leads, and proposals like cuddly heat-seeking missile
  • Track project status and client information in our CRM

Account Management
  • Support ongoing client relationships by making them feel valued and prioritized
  • Provide updates, clarify details, and maintain high-touch communication
  • Help ensure SpeedPro delivers exactly what we promised

Owner Support (aka making life easier for Eric & Rebecca)
  • Help organize daily priorities
  • Take tasks off their plate
  • Keep the studio calm, coordinated, and client-ready

WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TABLE
  • A warm, smart, polished communicator
  • The multitasking skills of a speed popping octopus
  • Ability to keep yourself and others organized
  • Basic comfort with computers, email, CRM systems, and learning new software
  • A proactive mindset ("I'm on it" vs. "Let me know what to do next")
  • A professional, friendly, service-oriented personality
  • Experience in client service, project coordination, office management, or sales support

HOURS, PAY & LOGISTICS
  • Part-time to start: approx. 25 hours/week,
  • Mon-Fri with occasional weekends, schedule is mildly flexible
  • Hourly + bonus opportunities + CTA Pass
  • Potential to grow into full-time as business continues expanding
  • South Loop location with easy transportation access
  • No recruiters. No drama. No mediocrity. Ever.

WHO THRIVES HERE
People who do well here are usually:
Calm when others spiral
Detail-obsessed, but not paralyzed by perfection
Team-oriented without needing hand-holding, constant reassurance or ceremonial praise
Comfortable being accountable
Intolerant of mediocrity
ABOUT THE OWNERS
SpeedPro Chicago Loop is partner-owned by Eric Lazar (former media & mobile tech executive, Marine Corps veteran) and Rebecca Considine (broadcast TV sales leader). They run the studio the same way they've built every successful team: clear expectations, real accountability, zero B.S. - and humor where it belongs.
WHY WORK WITH US?
SpeedPro Chicago Loop is not a corporate environment - it's a close-knit team backed by decades of sales, leadership, and marketing experience. You'll work directly with two proven leaders, learn the large-format print world from the inside, and gain hands-on experience with real impact.
We're veteran-owned, culture-driven, and proud of the reputation we've built. We work hard, we deliver big, and we have fun doing it.
FINAL WORDS (YES, READ THESE TOO)
Integrity, Judgment, Initiative and Dependability are mandatory traits
Military veterans encouraged to apply
Valid driver's license preferred
Equal Opportunity Employer
HOW TO APPLY:
Provide a short cover letter, resume, and portfolio (if applicable):
*No phone calls
*No walk-ins
*No recruiters
If you want to work in a high-performing shop that actually delivers, with people who take the work seriously (but not themselves), and you meet the requirements - we'd genuinely like to hear from you.
Compensation: $21.00 - $23.00 per hour
Working at SpeedPro and in the large-format printing industry, gives you a chance to be creative.
