QUALIFICATIONS:
Current, valid NYS RN License. Current valid CPR. Experience working with individuals with Intellectual/Developmental Disabilities (I/DD) preferred. Case management experience preferred. Evidence of understanding and empathy for I/DD population. Additional requirements include demonstrated extraordinary interpersonal, communication, organizational and computer skills including web-based platforms. Must possess assessment/evaluation skills and demonstrate the ability to work in a multi-task environment both independently and as a team demonstrating flexibility. NYS Driver's License in accordance with regulations and organization policies, practices, and procedures required. Travel during shift among sites required to complete job duties.
Monday-Friday, Day Shift, NO WEEKENDS, NO HOLIDAYS, NO ON-CALL and NO MANDATED SHIFTS! There may be some occasional evening hours to observe Direct Support Professionals complete a med pass; however, the nurse schedules these and therefore can flex hours to ensure tasks are completed.
