Vac Truck Driver (CDL B) / Operator – Utility Work – Home Daily

Construction Truck Driver / Operator – Utility Work - Vacuum Truck

Midwest Vac Professionals is a locally owned leader in Hydro Excavation, Sewer Cleaning, and CCTV Pipeline Inspection. We operate new, state-of-the-art equipment and are growing our team.

We are seeking Vac Truck Operators and CCTV Inspection Operators. Experience is preferred, but we are willing to train motivated individuals looking to build a long-term career.

This is a full-time, year-round position with strong benefits and advancement opportunities.

Ideal Backgrounds (Highly Encouraged to Apply)

We are actively seeking candidates with experience in:

  • Concrete / road / highway construction
  • Farming, ranching, grain elevators, or ag equipment
  • Pipeline or utility construction
  • Dirt work / excavation / grading
  • Welding or fabrication
  • Heavy equipment operation (any kind)
  • Mechanical or industrial labor roles
  • Landscaping
  • Grain Elevator

If you’re used to working with your hands, operating equipment, or fixing things, you’ll fit well here.

What You’ll Do

  • Operate hydro excavation (vac) trucks and/or CCTV inspection trucks
  • Perform sewer cleaning and underground utility work
  • Safely transport equipment to job sites
  • Conduct pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections
  • Maintain logs and required documentation
  • Refuel, clean, and maintain assigned equipment
  • Follow all DOT safety regulations and company procedures
  • Communicate professionally with customers and team members
  • Occasional overnight travel (paid)

Typical schedule: 40–50 hours per week (construction-based hours)

What We’re Looking For

  • CDL Class B (strongly preferred – willing to train the right candidate)
  • Tanker endorsement is a plus
  • Clean or mostly clean driving record
  • Ability to pass drug and alcohol screening
  • Willingness to work flexible hours
  • Strong work ethic and positive attitude
  • Construction or underground utility experience is a plus
