Job Summary and Responsibilities

Virginia Mason Franciscan Health, a part of the Pacific Northwest Division of CommonSpirit, is actively seeking a highly motivated and skilled Board Certified or Board Eligible OB/GYN physician to join our esteemed team in Enumclaw, WA.

Position Overview

We are a well-established and busy physician and midwife women's health group located in the beautiful Pacific Northwest. Our group consists of 2 OB/GYN physicians, 2 CNM's and 2 FP/OB. We have specialty support from 6 MFM, 1 Urogynecologist and 2 Gynecologic Oncologists. We provide evidenced-based women's healthcare services to Enumclaw and surrounding communities.

Join a close-knit, congenial practice located in a thriving rural area. This practice serves a number of small communities, including the neighboring Muckleshoot Reservation, providing access to comprehensive women's healthcare in a high-need area. Enjoy picturesque views of Mt Rainier from the newly-renovated Family Birth Center, known for its high breastfeeding success rates and c section rates well below the national average. There is the opportunity to build a robust obstetrics and GYN practice. Candidates must be hardworking, compassionate, and dedicated to providing superior patient care. Our group serves in one of the most rapidly growing areas in the country. Living in the Puget Sound Region provides for active city life, but still offers plenty of outdoor adventures. You can choose between city living and the suburbs.

St Elizabeth Hospital is a 38 bed, Level III Trauma Center located in Enumclaw, WA. St. Elizabeth has a partnership with Seattle Children's for specialty newborn care if needed. Our group does approximately 40 deliveries per month. St. Elizabeth Hospital is among America's Best Maternity Hospitals according to Newsweek magazine. In addition to high-quality maternity and childbirth services, we also deliver exceptional postpartum care. We are among a select few programs in the region to maintain this honor.

Qualifications/Requirements:

  • MD or DO, Board Certified/Board Eligible (must become BC within the first two years of employment)

  • Washington State medical license required at time of employment

  • DEA, NPI and prescriptive authority

  • Current BLS for Health Providers certification by the American Heart Association.
