Job description

Entry Level Carpenter

Join a team of skilled, customer service oriented craftsmen doing beautiful work on homes in the Ann Arbor region. .Enjoy competitive wages, a full set of fringe benefits, and opportunities to advance your skills.

This opportunity will involve working with one of our lead carpenters, and apprentice carpenters mostly on remodeling and additions, and occasionally on new homes or cabinets. Our crews mostly do carpentry - framing and finish -, laborer work, and on smaller jobs, a bit of the work of several other trades. This is an opportunity to learn carpentry from craftsmen with a high level of expertise.

We are in need of extra help to meet our client's expectations of project timing, and to meet our production goals.

We are a design-build residential builder specializing in remodeling and custom homes. Our tag line is " An artist's eye, and a craftsman's touch." With this approach, and with continually striving for integrity and customer service, we have built, and want to continue to build long lasting customer relationships. These have kept our work steady, even during slower economic times.

Since in construction, prices for our work are often compared to that of other companies, we need workers who are both productive and accurate.

We pay a competitive salary, commensurate with skill level, and phase in full benefits, including health and dental care, a small amount of life insurance, paid vacation and holidays, pension contributions, and a bonus system.

We are looking for an individual to join our team of experienced professionals as we strive to provide quality, and creative design-build construction services to our clients with excellent customer service and integrity.
