Overview

JOB SUMMARY

An entry level position that performs a variety of general maintenance/construction duties; inspecting, repairing, maintaining buildings and equipment.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Education:  High school diploma or equivalent within 12 months of hire.

 

Experience:   One year in building maintenance and equipment repair, preferable in a health care setting.   

 

Knowledge and Skills: Good verbal and written communication skills.  Basic knowledge in one or more of the following trades:  Painting, Carpentry, Maintenance, Electrical, HVAC and Locksmith.  Basic computer skills.  Read blue prints.

License/Certifications:  Valid California driver's license.  Forklift certification preferred.  Locksmith certification/bonded and HVAC EPA certification as applicable.

Equipment:   Experience with hand and power tools.  Employee provides personal basic hand tools.

Physical Requirements: Must be able to perform the essential physical requirements of the job.

PAY RANGE

$21.00 - $29.12
