Job description

Job Title: CAD DrafterJob Description

We are seeking a skilled CAD Drafter to join our team. The role involves spending approximately 70% of your time using AutoCAD and 30% using Solidworks, with a transition expected to focus more on Solidworks over time. You will work primarily on layouts of retail stockrooms, handling projects through both AutoCAD and Solidworks. In AutoCAD, you will import files, incorporate simple elevation unit blocks, and prepare layouts for the Account Manager. In Solidworks, you will retrieve components from PDM, create layouts, and generate spreadsheets for the Account Manager.

Responsibilities
  • Import files into AutoCAD and incorporate simple blocks for layout creation.
  • Collaborate with the Account Manager to integrate detailed elevation information.
  • Retrieve existing components from PDM for layout creation in Solidworks.
  • Populate designs with actual pieces and parts in Solidworks.
  • Generate spreadsheets and coordinate with the Account Manager for CAD uploads.
  • Design layouts for retail stockrooms using AutoCAD and Solidworks.
Essential Skills
  • 0-2 years of experience in CAD Drafting/Design.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD.
  • Proficiency in Solidworks.

Work Environment

The position requires working Monday through Friday for 40 hours per week, with a flexible start time between 7-8 AM. The site hosts approximately 120 people, offering 6 holidays annually and 1 week of paid time off. Pay and Benefits
