As an Entry-Level Equipment Maintenance Technician (Wet Cleans), you will support the performance, reliability, and uptime of wet clean semiconductor manufacturing equipment within a cleanroom environment. This role is critical to maintaining process integrity through chemical cleaning systems that prepare wafers for downstream processing.
You will gain hands-on experience working with chemical delivery systems, fluid handling, and wet process tools, while collaborating closely with engineers to troubleshoot, maintain, and improve equipment.
Shift: Nights 1, Sun-Tue and alt Wed, 6pm-6am
Key Responsibilities
  • Follow all safety protocols, with a strong focus on chemical safety and hazardous material handling
  • Adhere strictly to cleanroom contamination control and gowning procedures
  • Perform preventive maintenance (PM) and corrective repairs on wet clean tools and associated subsystems
  • Troubleshoot equipment issues to root cause, including:
    • Pumps, valves, and fluid delivery systems
    • Chemical dispense and drain systems
    • Sensors, heaters, and control components
  • Conduct component-level diagnostics and repair when necessary
  • Use basic statistical process control (SPC) methods to monitor tool performance and identify trends
  • Maintain accurate and detailed maintenance logs and equipment documentation
  • Communicate technical findings, repeat issues, and tool status to engineering and peer teams
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment, especially in chemical handling areas
  • Identify and propose equipment or process improvements to enhance tool reliability and performance
  • Support continuous improvement and uptime initiatives within the wet cleans area

Minimum Qualifications
  • HS Diploma or GED
  • Comfortable working in a cleanroom environment, including full gowning and face covering
  • Willingness to work around and safely handle chemicals used in wet cleaning processes

Preferred Qualifications
  • Currently pursuing or completed an Associate's (AS) degree
  • Experience supporting or maintaining wet clean tools or chemical processing equipment
  • Exposure to hazardous chemical handling and safety protocols (e.g., acids, solvents)
  • Experience in semiconductor manufacturing or other cleanroom environments
